Photography and travel, it seems, have always been a part of my life. I purchased my first Nikon SLR in the 70's. With that, my journey "Through the Lens" began. The digital revolution has brought new zeal and passion to my search for the magnificent images in travel and nature.
After years of film experience I recently rededicated myself to becoming better at image capture by studying large format photography. Although the 4x5 film camera has become part of my life for big landscapes, the digital world is where we spend most of our time.
We are lucky enough to live in Boise, Idaho, just yards from the Boise River, with the foothills of the Boise Front right outside our front door.
The natural world is ubiquitous in this part of the country, making easy work of the search for meaningful images.
